Why I created
Wholeyfit – The souls compass method ™
Wholeyfit – The Souls Compass Method™ began as a care plan I designed for myself, a whole-person solution born out of necessity. I needed something that could meet me fully: mind, body, soul, and spirit. After a childhood marked by trauma, disordered eating, and low self-esteem, I couldn’t find one approach that truly helped me heal. So I created one.
I combined everything that had helped me, therapy, nutrition, exercise, life coaching, and financial tools, and began to rebuild from the inside out. Not just to feel better, but to feel safe, strong, and present in my own body. This framework became Wholeyfit – The Souls Compass Method™ a full-circle path to healing and wholeness. And it changed everything.
My Story
My journey toward founding Wholeyfit – The Souls Compass Method™ began with personal struggles around health and food. I grew up in a domestically violent home and was sexually abused. Food was sometimes withheld as punishment or offered as an apology after abuse. After my father left, money became scarce. As one of six children, my mother often couldn’t afford enough food. What we did have was usually cheap, poor-quality, and heavily processed.
Free school meals, while helpful, were basic and lacked proper nutrition. I often went hungry, and when food was available, I ate as much as I could, unsure when the next meal would come. That survival pattern shaped the emotional eating habits I carried into adulthood. Frustrated by conventional medicine’s focus on symptoms instead of root causes, I searched for deeper solutions.
These experiences deeply affected my relationship with myself, mentally, physically, and emotionally, and with others. I developed a strong need for both physical boundaries and a sense of safety. My unhealthy relationship with food became a form of physical protection, an unconscious attempt to feel safe and protect my body.
Through research, learning, and healing, I realised there wasn’t a whole-person approach that nurtured mind, body, soul, and spirit together. So, I studied and learned each one individually, then created my own by bringing all the elements together. I combined therapy, nutrition, exercise, life coaching, and financial support, which in turn transformed my relationships. I found a way to feel mentally strong, healthy, and present in my body.
During this journey, I also discovered I was dyslexic. That’s why I designed this programme to be fun, colourful, simple, supportive, and accessible — and why Wholeyfit was originally spelled “wrong.” It stuck. And now it’s how I honour that part of myself, the part that needed to learn and grow at her own pace.
I was excited and motivated by what I’d created and wanted to share it. I realised it was my soul’s purpose and calling to bring all the elements together and create Wholeyfit – The Souls Compass Method™, a place for safety, education, and empowerment.
My Work Today
Through 1 to 1 sessions, workshops, online courses, coaching, and retreats I help others find balance in all areas of life. My work highlights the importance of staying too or connecting with our humanness, valuing nourishing food, regular exercise, a life designed with and on purpose, financial support and meaningful connection.
