Therapy

Therapy is a space to come home to yourself, safely, fully, and without shame.

I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome: the proud ones, the hidden ones, the parts still learning how to trust. I work from the understanding that there is nothing wrong with you. You don’t need to be fixed, just met with understanding.

As well as being a Psychosynthesis-trained counsellor, I work in a trauma-informed, body-aware way, helping you connect with your body and become curious about what it may be communicating. Healing isn’t about fixing you. It’s about meeting, loving, and holding the parts of you that learned to survive. I honour the whole of you – mind, body, soul, and spirit- practically, emotionally, and energetically.

Therapy with me is a process, one that supports you through meaningful, soul-led change. This is how it often unfolds:

1. Identify and map what’s playing out now

I support you in identifying and exploring past blueprints, patterns, and unconscious beliefs that are still active in your present life. This work allows you to understand what shaped you, begin to release what no longer serves you, and move forward with more clarity and grounding.

2. Unpick the harm

I help you unravel the deeper layers and understand how your experiences, relationships, family systems and the wider world may have shaped you. This can include experiences of abuse, racism, homophobia, patriarchy, class and education systems.
We explore your inner child, attachment styles, boundaries and relationship with your body to create space for the emotions and feelings beneath your patterns and begin to understand what safety, repair and healing may look and feel like for you.

3. Reconnect with who you are

As you begin to understand and release old patterns, there is more space to reconnect with your own voice, truth, needs, values and soul — who you are beneath what you learned you needed to be.
Therapy becomes your space to explore what belongs to you and what doesn’t, helping you develop a deeper relationship with and trust in yourself, so you can begin to live more authentically.

4. Recognise and change old patterns

Old behaviours and survival patterns won’t disappear overnight. I help you recognise if and when they return, understand what they may be communicating, and develop new ways of responding.
Over time, change becomes something that is not just understood but increasingly felt and lived.

5. Be held with compassion and care

Throughout the process, I act as a mirror, a unifying centre and a secure base, holding you with the love, compassion and care that you deserve.
I walk alongside you through the ups and downs, the difficult moments and the joyful ones, offering a strong, grounded presence as you move through the process. Over time, this support becomes internalised, helping you learn to hold and love yourself with that same tolerance, love and care.

I believe healing comes from trusting your inner knowing. My role is to create the conditions where that voice gets louder, where you no longer have to carry what was never yours.

“I believe our souls chose this life, our families, our bodies, our path. Therapy becomes the safe space to remember that, to reconnect with purpose, and to live in alignment with who you came here to be.”

Testimonials

Lucy

Before I started having therapy with Victoria, I never felt comfortable talking to anyone about things from either my past or present that caused me difficulty or pain, even my closest family. I felt like I was wearing a mask, that I was on the outside looking in. Victoria has really helped me unpick and understand myself. I feel totally safe with her. Anything we discuss is totally at a pace I’m comfortable with and there is never any feeling of judgement. She’s provided me with strategic tools for managing my feelings, and she has helped me become more open with people. I feel lucky to have her as my therapist.

Lilly

Victoria has always been so open with me. She is direct, gentle, and challenging, and I never feel that she is or has ever judged me. There is a calm, assertive groundedness about her. She allows me to be open while guiding me toward the reasons I came to therapy.

Matt

When I came to Victoria, I thought I needed ‘tough love,’ but the compassion and empathy she showed and gave me opened me in ways I never thought possible. She helped normalise all the gentler feelings I experienced and guided me in finding ways to express and voice my softer side, something I had always struggled with as a man.
